We are in the middle of a dry and hot summer season but activities at Ryecroft continue unabated.  Our seven tennis league teams have almost completed their summer league matches and it has not been a good year for us with four of our teams looking set for relegation.  You can follow the progress of all our teams as the season comes to an end by clicking the links on the tennis page of this website.

Our coaches are running an extensive schedule of classes and summer holiday camps which are greatly enjoyed by the juniors and there is also a lot of adult group coaching classes and 1 to 1 individual classes.  Look at the coaching page of the website to sign up for the holiday camps.

On the bowling green,  we have 14 teams competing in various different leagues.  With approx 75% of the matches completed the most successful of our teams is the Cheadle & Gatley Evening team who are currently 1st in Divn B.  Also worth a mention are the Alderley league Ladies team in Divn 3 who are currently 3rd, and the Alderley league Mixed team in Divn 5 who are also currently in 3rd place.

Inside the clubhouse our table tennis players are batting the balls, our snooker payers are potting the balls,  and our card players are enjoying Whist and Bridge games.   The football World Cup games were shown on our new large screen TV and many members supported England's run to the semi-finals.
